It was never a competition, but complementarity," Ms. Josie Dela Cruz said regarding the relations between men and women in the workplace or their roles in society. The former Bulacan Governor and Postmaster General addressed NPC employees during Monday's Flag Raising Ceremony as the Corporation opened Womenโs Month, which carries the theme, "๐๐ข๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ: ๐๐๐ค๐๐ฒ๐๐ก๐๐ง ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ข๐ก๐๐ง, ๐๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ฒ๐๐ง".
Ms. Josie emphasized in her message the importance of men and women partnering to achieve success. โMaximize strengths and create synergy from partnerships so that success becomes easier, more achievable,โ she said. ย
She also encouraged all women to continue striving for their goals, just as men have done. โMarch is a celebration of every contribution of women, yes, but the greater significance of this month is, there may be better and more beautiful things women can do,โ Mam Josie quipped.ย
To celebrate Womenโs Month, NPC employees will join #PurpleFridays and will hold a film showing featuring women's empowerment.ย
