NPC LFI gives love to children with the Big C (December 19, 2019)
To spread the Christmas cheer and love, the NPC Ladies Foundation, Inc. on Thursday, December 19 holds a gift giving and bloodletting program for children who battle with cancer.
Coming from Las Piñas, Quezon City, Laguna and Cavite, 30 cancer patients received in-kind and monetary gifts from the ladies and the National Power Corporation employees.
LFI President, Ambassador Virginia H. Benavidez emphasized that the gift-giving was held to honor Jesus Christ alone who is the reason for the season.
The Foundation also treated the children with delicious meals and conducted a bloodletting activity for them, as some kids with leukemia need regular blood transfusion.
NPC partners with Philippine College of Physicians in planting trees in Buhi, Camarines Sur
NPC’s Buhi Barit Watershed Area team has recently partnered with the Philippine College of Physicians – Bicol Chapter in planting 100 seedlings of narra, lamog and tugawe at the watershed reservation in San Ramon, Buhi.

NPC - SPUG's Bicol team plants trees on Labor Day
On May 1, NPC employees at the Bicol Operations Division of SPUG planted 300 trees on May 1 at the NPC Ligao Stockyard. The planted seedlings which came from our Tiwi Watershed consists of narra, santol, acacia, pili and mahogany.
NPC’s Balut DPP in Davao joins 2019 Brigada Eskwela
NPC employees of Balut Diesel Power Plant in Davao participate in the recently held Brigada Eskwela in Mabila Central Elementary School in Sarangani Balut Island. Headed by Plant-in-Charge Antonio Defunturum Jr., the employees join the clean-up and provided used drums that were converted into trash bins.
