NPC grants 24/7 power to Palanan, Isabela

NPC on Tuesday, October 29 held a simple ceremony in Brgy. Culasi in Palanan, Isabela to mark the launch of round the clock power service in the area.

NPC serves 1,200 households in the remote municipality through the Isabela Electric Cooperative, Inc. II (ISELCO II).

Present during the launch were Municipal Administrator Herman Mago, Jr., SPUG Acting Manager for Marinduque, Quezon and North Luzon Danilo Barcarse, ILECO II representative Jerome dela Peña, and residents of Brgy. Culasi.

Palanan is a geographically isolated municipality in Isabela. Rich in natural resources including marine life, it is one of the most beautiful destinations in the Philippines. It can be reached by a 30-35 minute flight in a six-seater, single engine plane from Cauayan City or a six – seven boat ride from Dingalan or Baler, Aurora.
