The whole Upper Agno River Watershed Area team has recently conducted a tree planting activity in Barangay Ambuklao in Bokod, Benguet to celebrate Philippine Arbor Day. Despite the rain, the team planted 350 tree seedlings in an area within the watershed.

The Upper Agno River Watershed has a total area of 123,000 hectares located in nine municipalities of Benguet, two municipalities in Ifugao, and one municipality each in Mountain Province and Nueva Vizcaya. It serves as a catchment area that feeds the dams of the Ambuklao and Binga hydroelectric power plants in Benguet.
