NPC Ladies Foundation, Inc. opens Christmas Village, sends warm greetings to the public

Christmas is just around the corner and the Christmas spirit is even more felt at NPC today as the NPC Ladies Foundation, Inc. led by Ambassador Virginia H. Benavidez opens the Christmas Village collection.

The Christmas Village collection, composed of more than a thousand pieces, is a personal collection of Amb. Benavidez who extended her Christmas greetings to NPC employees, guests and friends.

“This collection has always been with us wherever we are – in Brunei, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Filipino communities always look forward to visiting our home for this,” Ambassador Gee shared.

She also said that the Foundation has also been mirroring the resurgence and resilience theme of NPC’s Photo contest and 2017 Annual Report. Resurgence is seen in the Foundation’s classroom project in Marawi City that paves the way for the rising of a new face of the city after the siege. Resilience is shown in the other programs of the Foundation that supports the less fortunate like the deaf-mute children who handmade the 6 ft Christmas tree of the village out of sea shells and seeds.

Employees took their selfies and groupies with the displays right after the opening. The Christmas Village is becoming an attraction at NPC among guests since its display during the Christmas season last year.
