NPC Executives kick-off its 3-day Management Conference

With the theme, Leading Change: Challenges and Key to Success, the NPC managers convene on Wednesday, November 7 at the First Pacific Leadership Academy in Antipolo City for the 2018 Management Conference.

On the first day, NPC President and CEO Pio J. Benavidez delivered before the executives his insight on the present status of NPC, its major challenges, the ways on how to confront and prepare for them, and the action steps or changes to make in order to thrive further towards its vision and aspirations as a corporation.

He also gave encouraging words of wisdom to the managers saying, “the accumulated fears and what ifs in our minds are most of the time a lot worse than our biggest challenges. So tapangan natin, kapag binigyan ng problem to solve or big assignment, be brave and stand up for it. Hindi naman ito ibibigay sa inyo kung hindi ako naniniwala sa inyo.”

For the rest of the day until early evening, Organization Development and Change Management specialist Ruth Gerochi and Learning and Development specialist Ma. Felda Alarkon facilitated the topic Leading Change. They led the group into a lively and engaging discussion on the nature and process of organizational change, its framework and the factors affecting its effective execution.

The NPC Management Conference is an annual event that aims to increase engagement among the Corporation’s executives, identify priority strategies, respond to expectations from stakeholders and renew commitment to NPC’s vision, mission and mandates, among others.
