LFI’s Christmas Noche Buena and Care Packages Reach Catanduanes

Just in time for the Noche Buena, the Ladies Foundation’s Christmas and care packages arrived in Catanduanes yesterday for the families in seven additional barangays in Bato and San Miguel who were also greatly affected by recent typhoons.

LFI President Ambassador Virginia H. Benavidez expressed her gratitude to everyone who contributed, packed and delivered the goods to their beneficiaries - Mr. Edwin Tatel, Area Manager of NAPOCOR, Bicol region, Mr. Jesus Tapel, Jr., Project Manager and the team composed of Kareen Tejerero, Darius L. Rebibis, Rouie B. De Quiroz, Alvin T. Leonardo, Jhanjeric S. Borja, Carla Mae D. Vargas, Lora Jean B. Tablizo, Melinda Gurrobat, Fatima Tan, Dave Joseph Camacho, Kenly Torrente and John Wilfred Teves.

“More than words can ever say, these photos of the distribution starting yesterday capture vividly the joyful spirit of giving and sharing GOD’s provisions to many people in Virac and San Andres in Catanduanes. It is our prayer that the beneficiaries will get to know GOD more deeply through the New Testament in the Bicol language and spiritual tracts as well as enjoy the Noche Buena bundles and food items as they celebrate the birthday of JESUS tomorrow. Through our special care packages, may they know and feel that the love and care of GOD are endless and far reaching as they put their hope on HIM in rebuilding their lives, livelihoods and homes again,” Amba Gee said.

The Foundation also thanked NPC’s Management Committee headed by President Pio J. Benavidez, the corporation’s personnel including the security and maintenance group for the outpour of donations and logistical support that made the Christmas gift-giving possible. As Amba Gee said, they are BLESSED to BLESS, GIFTED to GIVE and STRENGTHENED to SERVE!

Truly, the best way to serve God is by serving those in need. Glory to Him in everything that LFI do. Merry Christmas everyone!
