NPC officially launches operation of Camandag Diesel Power Plant in Samar
NPC on March 19 formally launched the operation of Camandag Diesel Power Plant in Sto. Niño Western Samar. The launch was led by SPUG Vice President Atty. Rogel T. Teves and Mayor Congressman Edgar Mary Sarmiento.
The power plant was commissioned on September 2018. It currently serves 700 households and has a dependable capacity of 180 kW and a demand of 80 kW.
Camandag is only one of NPC’s new areas in Samar as the corporation is set to energize 9 more communities in the province.
