NPC Pres, Cebu Gov sign Deed of Usufruct for NPC Visayas Office

NPC President and CEO Pio J. Benavidez and Cebu Governor Hilario P. Davide III on Wednesday sign a Deed of Usufruct for the National Power Corporation’s use of a property owned by the Provincial Government of Cebu.

The Deed of Usufruct, which is valid and binding for 50 years, covered a parcel of land in Barangay Sudlon in Lahug, Cebu which NPC intends to use for the construction of SPUG Visayas Operations Office.

Both the National Power Board and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Cebu issued resolutions granting authority for the parties to enter the said agreement.

NPC expressed its gratitude to Governor Davide and the Province of Cebu for agreeing to such agreement since it will be very helpful for the corporation as it pursues missionary electrification programs in the Visayas region.
