NPC provides capability training to Dumagat before enterprise projects take off

NPC through its Angat Watershed Area Team from May 3 to 5 gave a capability enterprise development training on production and marketing plans for the members of the Katutubong Dumagat ng Sierra Madre ng Angat (KADUSMANA).

The training was undertaken as preparation for KADUSMANA’s livelihood project launch, which includes honeybee production, and the production of barbeque sticks made from bamboo, and rattan poles, among others.

After such preparations, seed capital will be provided by the San Miguel Corporation Global Power Foundation to allow the community to have its own sustainable source of income.

KADUSMANA is an indigenous people organization formed by NPC. The Angat Watershed reservation is one of the 11 watershed reservations being managed by the Corporation.
