Twenty-nine (29) Internal Quality Auditors (IQA) of the National Power Corporation underwent the IRCA Certified ISO 9001:2015 Auditor/Lead Auditor Training Course on Quality Management Systems. The course was held in two (2) batches, on July 24-28 and July 31-August 4, 2017, at the NPC Hotel and Training Center in Bagac, Bataan.

Conducted by Mr. Mark Golez for Batch 1 and Mr. Kevin Castillon for Batch 2 as resource persons from the AJA Registrars, the 5-day training aimed to provide the participants with the knowledge and skills required to perform audits of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021.

NPC targets to obtain the ISO 9001:2015 certification by early 2018.

NPC's Training and Development Division organized and facilitated the training.
