NPC welcomes JEPIC for a study tour

NPC officials on Thursday welcome delegates from the Japan Electric Power Information Center (JEPIC) for a discussion on the corporation’s roles in the Philippine power industry. JEPIC requested for a meeting with NPC, along with other energy firms in the Philippines to gain perspective on how the two countries can collaborate towards stable energy supply and demand.

NPC presented its corporate thrusts, missionary electrification program and SPUG operations, and watershed management program to the delegates, who expressed gratitude at the end of the discussion.

The JEPIC delegates were led by Dr. Yoshiki IInuma, Senior Director of JEPIC’s Research Department while NPC officials were headed by Vice President for Corporate Affairs Mr. Urbano C. Mendiola.
