Catanduanes residents affected by recent typhoons receive Christmas packages from NPC’s SPUG-Mindanao

For NPC’s Small Power Utilities Group (SPUG) personnel, distance is never a hindrance from what needs to get done. This has been proven again as the SPUG Mindanao Operations Department traveled to typhoon-hit households in Catanduanes via Cagayan de Oro, Iligan City, Surigao, Leyte and Samar.

The team was able to distribute relief goods to 100 families residing in Balongbong, Marinawa and Codon. The relief efforts came after SPUG-MOD decided to shell out contributions for families affected by Typhoons Rolly and Ulysses instead of holding a year-end party which is prohibited due to the current health crisis.
