NPC Mingen’s CSR Team Grants Assistance to Evacuees in Saguiaran, Lanao Del Sur and Fuentes, Iligan City (June 02, 2017)

Earlier this month, the NPC Mindanao Generation CSR Committee has mobilized employees to give assistance to displaced families due to the ongoing conflict in Marawi City.

The team handed over 254 packs of goods to an evacuation center in Saguiaran, Lanao del Sur through Mayor Macmod R. Muti and 150 packs to another evacuation center in Fuentes, Iligan City.

NPC has likewise gained PSALM’s approval of releasing P100, 000 pesos to provide relief goods to 49 identified employees from the six Agus power plants and the NPC Mindanao Regional Office who were directly affected by the crisis in Marawi City. The distribution of goods happened on June 13, 2017 with DOE Usec. Benito L. Ranque and NPC VP for MinGen Dadelio Corpuz.

NPC through the Mindanao Generation Group manages for PSALM the six cascading hydropower plants of Agus which has a total rated capacity of 727.10 MW.
