In response to blood donation call, NPC Ladies Foundation Inc. resumes blood drive
To heed the DOH call for blood donors, the National Power Corporation’s Ladies Foundation Inc. on Thursday, July 22 organized a blood donation drive in its office in Diliman, in partnership with
the Philippine Blood Center of the Department of Health.
A total of 34 employees and personnel passed the screening and successfully donated 34 units of blood. NPC OIC Atty. Melchor Ridulme who donated blood himself thanked the employees who signed up for the program.
In a recent statement, Marites Estrella, program manager of the DOH National Voluntary Blood Services Program, encouraged Filipinos to donate blood because thousands of patients are in need.
