NPC partners with Philippine College of Physicians in planting trees in Buhi, Camarines Sur
NPC’s Buhi Barit Watershed Area team has recently partnered with the Philippine College of Physicians – Bicol Chapter in planting 100 seedlings of narra, lamog and tugawe at the watershed reservation in San Ramon, Buhi.
PCP – Bicol Chapter was led by its President, Dr. Renee Myla Balang who said that the activity was the organization’s contribution in mitigating the effects of climate change. The group will also be monitoring the status of their adopted area of the forest to nourish the seedlings and be able to conduct replanting too.
