Updates on our ICT Classroom Project for Bato, Catanduanes
The National Power Corporation Ladies Foundation, Inc. (NPC-LFI) Board of Trustees and Members endlessly thank GOD for opening the right doors, touching people’s hearts for the outpouring of support, and leading us to network with the school officials and NAPOCOR personnel for the realization of

our ICT classroom for students of the Bato Central Elementary School (BCES) in Bato, Catanduanes. This place was among those greatly affected by the series of very strong typhoons that hit the Bicol region last year. BCES’ principal has now given NPC-LFI a large area in the school’s compound, the future site of our ICT classroom.
In complete trust and with ardent prayers for GOD’s provisions given the challenges faced during the pandemic, we started our fund-raising projects in 2020 through our electronic raffle draws, series of Cooking-For-A-Cause, donation box and voluntary contributions among the NPC personnel, family members and friends. As our fund-raising activities continue to go on high gear, these have incredibly exceeded our expectations as donations and contributions poured in both in cash and in-kind.

In May, we will hold another E-raffle with a donated Revo car as the grand prize. More E-raffle draws will be held in the coming months for the donated Dell desktop computers and HP wifi-powered printers. Many kind-hearted and generous individuals who prefer to remain unnamed have made cash donations to NPC-LFI. NAPOCOR personnel from the Main office and field offices in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao have also donated substantial amounts to NPC-LFI. Our Cooking-For-A-Cause series continue to contribute in many tangible, intangible and inspiring ways.

From our hearts to the hearts of our generous donors and supporters, we reiterate our deep gratitude for journeying with us and we look forward to the eventual construction and completion of the ICT classroom for the benefit of our beloved students of the Bato Central Elementary School. It is our prayer that GOD’s blessings will be returned to everyone in full measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over and poured out on their laps.
The verses in Proverbs 3:5-6 in the Bible “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, submit to HIM and HE will make your paths straight” continue to direct and inspire us. In everything we do, all glory, praise, and thanksgiving to GOD alone.
