NPC briefs records officers on Republic Acts 9470, 10173 and FOI
NPC on Wednesday, July 17 organized an orientation on Republic Acts 9470, 10173 and the Freedom of Information for its records officers and members of its Records Retention and Disposal Committee.
The briefing was conducted by Mr. Larry O. Pardilla, Sr of the National Archives of the Philippines.
RA 9470 is an act strengthening the management of archival records while RA 10173 is the Data Privacy Act of 2012. The Freedom of Information, as contained in Executive Order No. 2, series of 2016 contains the state policies on transparency and full public disclosure of information.
