NPC inaugurates records and training center building
NPC officials and employees led by President Pio J. Benavidez on Tuesday, February 18 inaugurates the Corporation’s records and training center building in Minuyan, City of San Jose del Monte in Bulacan.
In his message, President Pio said that the building in some way will be a representation of NPC’s past and future. “Our record’s office will be a library of our past while the training rooms will hold our future skills enhancement training aimed at uplifting the quality of our service,” he said.
The groundbreaking for the dormitory in the NPC compound in Minuyan was also held. The dormitory will serve as quarters for continued trainings.
Also present during the inauguration and groundbreaking were Vice President for Administration and Finance Ms. Lorna T. Dy, Vice President, Office of the Legal Counsel Atty. Melchor P. Ridulme, SPUG Vice President Atty. Rogel Teves, OIC Vice President for Power Engineering Service Mr. Rafael Abergas, and Vice President for Corporate Affairs Mr. Rene Barruela.
The arrangement of various materials including the restoration of the NPC Library at the new building was prepared through the efforts of the General Services Department, currently headed by Mr. Randy Villarin.
Both ceremonies were organized by the General Services Department, Administration and Finance Group and Project Management Department - Power Engineering Services Group.
