NPC energizes a far-flung community in Linapacan, Palawan
In its pursuit to reach more households to energize, NPC on Friday, October 5 inaugurates its first mini-grid in Palawan, granting access to electricity to 180 initial households in Nangalao, Linapacan.
The inauguration of the Nangalao Diesel Power Plant was led by NPC’s Palawan Operations Division led by Mr. Larry Sabellina and the local government unit of Linapacan.
NPC allotted 80-kW generating set to the community which has 320 more potential households and will add capacities accordingly to the growing demand.
Other new areas to be energized in Palawan this year includes the communities Paly, Beyton and Casian in the Municipality of Taytay.
