The National Power Corporation and the Sagip Sierra Madre Environmental Society, Inc. welcomed on Saturday, April 25 Postmaster General and CEO Josefina M. dela Cruz in Angat and the Philippine Postal Corporation’s (PHLPost) intention of adopting one hectare of land in Angat Watershed Reservation to plant 1,600 lauan seedlings.

In a statement, Dela Cruz said since PHLPost’s core business of delivery depends on paper, it is imperative for them to engage in activities that have a positive impact on the environment and to their stakeholders.

The Memorandum of Agreement among the three agencies was signed by Postmaster General dela Cruz, Assistant Postmaster General for Marketing Luis D. Carlos, NPC Senior Vice President Danilo S. Sedilla, Watershed Management Department Head Emmanuel A. Umali and SSMESI Chairperson Bro. Martin Francisco.
